The independent payment solutions provider had built a successful business in a competitive market using its homegrown legacy acquisition software. However, it was resource-heavy. Over the years the system had grown to cater for the company’s needs, with little documentation to support it. The company’s progress was limited by the system and dependent on those who understood it. Growth opportunities were being missed.
To explore new opportunities and grow its business, the company asked TietoEVRY to analyze its current and potential future requirements and deliver a game-changing payment processing solution. Following an extensive pre-study, the decision was taken to deploy a bespoke version of TietoEVRY’s off the shelf payment solution. This would supersede the payment processing part of the homegrown solution.

On top of this, TietoEVRY was responsible for development, implementation and maintenance, license management, training, and any further consultation necessary to support growth. Deployment was carried out iteratively to provide a smooth transition with minimal interruption to operations.
Since the new platform was deployed, the independent payment solutions provider has almost doubled its operations. The number of transactions has grown from 1 million a day to 1.8 million a day in just three years. This would not have been possible if they had not transitioned to the TietoEVRY solution.
