Innovations within health and social care.
Innovations should be able to demonstrate increased benefits for care recipients, users, patients, staff, organizations, and/or the national economy. There will also be extra consideration given to an innovation if it has been implemented or if a decision to implement has been made.
The scholarship is worth SEK 50,000 and will be distributed over one or two grants from the municipality and/or region. Applicants can be active in health and social care that is run privately or on behalf of the municipality or region.
The scholarship is open to applicants from Sweden, Norway and Denmark and has been established in by Vitalis in partnership with TietoEVRY, Health & Care Nordic.
Three finalists will be selected to present their innovation during Vitali’s 2021 conference where a judging panel will select the winner. This is a fantastic opportunity to spread the news of your innovation and reach a vast and relevant target audience group!
A scholarship judging panel will be responsible for deciding the winner. The jury will include people with competence from either direct or indirect care and nursing work. The judging panel’s decision will be final, and appeals will not be accepted.

The scholarship shortlist will be announced in 2021. The finalists will be given an opportunity to make a short presentation about their innovation during Vitali’s 2021 conference. A judging panel will assess each presentation and a winner will be selected and announced for each category. The scholarship winner will be presented their price at the Vitali 2021 conference evening event.
Applications can be made using the form on this page. Short films describing the innovation and/or any current or future implementation can be submitted with applications. Finalists will receive a complimentary conference pass for the entirety of the event; however, all hotel and travel costs are not covered and are the responsibility of the individual. The winners will take part in the Vitali 2021 conference evening event on the 19th May, including an overnight stay in the hotel after the dinner.
