Lillestrøm municipality has been part of a pilot project testing AI functionality in our case and document management solution Public 360°, to see if this can help them better handle the increasing amount of documents they need to inspect everyday.
- We are very satisfied with the Archive Inspector integration in Public 360° and feel that it gives us extra security. It makes us ensure that we have really done everything we can to protect the privacy of our citizens, says Synnøve Standal, head of the Documentation Center in one of the larger municipalities in Norway, Lillestrøm municipality.
Lillestrøm municipality published a number of highly personal sensitive information after an error. To prevent a new leak, they have now a very special new "employee". The municipality contacted Tietoevry for support. Together with some other municipalities they developed a system called Archive Inspector. This system uses artificial intelligence (AI) to check documents. Sebastian Reichmann, head of AI and Insight at Tietoevry, says that it is almost impossible to avoid mistakes with today's manual quality assurance.
The municipality has been using the Archive Inspector since the start of 2023, and the experience so far has been good. Tietoevry has already piloted the Archive Inspector in health information. According to Reichmann, in the long run they want that all municipalities and other public bodies with services of Tietoevry should be able to use AI in this way.
Built-In Intelligence within our standard solution, now supports public organizations in establishing a new Best Practice for handling sensitive and personal information. We call it 360° Archive Inspector.
