The challenge

A leading European Tier 1 supplier of electric charging solutions for automotive companies needed a standalone team of technical experts to take full responsibility for software development and integration of the AUTOSAR-compliant solution.

It was essential to assure adequate collaboration with multiple distributed teams involved in the project to adjust to the project goals and independently manage the assigned scopes of work.

The solution

TietoEVRY’s Automotive Team developed an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) software for electric charging devices complying with AUTOSAR Classic high-quality standards. The solution is easily integrated into the vehicle’s architecture in line with many technical requirements and safety standards.

A German automotive manufacturer - a leading European Tier 1 supplier of electric charging solutions for automotive companies, has expanded its range of battery charging products for EVs and received many inquiries from potential clients. However, they lacked the capacity to adhere to all the project needs and comply with AUTOSAR requirements to automotive embedded software development.
