Microsoft Norway has crowned TietoEVRY its Microsoft Partner of the Year. “TietoEVRY has shown remarkable progress and a willingness to constantly develop its level of expertise”, according to the jury’s explanation of its decision.
The unique collaboration combines Tietoevry’s expertise and in-depth knowledge of Norwegian needs and challenges with the best in global technology. The two companies have delivered solutions and technologies that enable organisations in the public and private sectors to carry out future-oriented innovation and digitalisation.
“We are incredibly proud and pleased to have been awarded this major prize, namely of being Microsoft Partner of the Year - it is a very prestigious award. It demonstrates the value of our two companies’ unique collaboration, and it also serves as recognition for all Tietoevry’s skilled employees and demonstrates our significant range and depth in areas such as cloud services, collaboration solutions, AI, machine learning and analysis tools. Tietoevry’s employees work with dedication every day to be at the forefront of developments in relation to expertise and insight into Microsoft’s digitalisation tools”, comments Christian Pedersen, Managing Partner for Tietoevry Norway.
We are proud to be named Microsoft Partner of the Year in Norway.
An important area for which TietoEVRY has developed and delivers the case management system Public 360° is municipalities and state organisations in Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Tietoevry’s solution is based on Microsoft technology but has been developed by TietoEVRY employees who have extensive knowledge of the public sector’s case management procedures and regulatory framework. Since January this year, 20,000 new users in the public sector have started using the solutions.
COVID-19 provides another example of what the companies’ partnership means for the Norwegian market. The need for collaboration solutions increased dramatically once people started working from home three months ago. TietoEVRY and Microsoft have helped many customers to increase their capacity and to organise training in Teams. This ensured that employees were quickly able to continue collaborating regardless of where they were working.
At the start of the year Microsoft and Tietoevry also announced a strategic partnership that is intended to increase the rate of digitalisation across the Nordic region. As part of this, 3,000 Tietoevry employees will gain certification in Microsoft Azure, which will give the company the largest Azure community in the Nordic region. Tietoevry will also focus on making the majority of its software solutions Azure Cloud-ready. Cloud intelligence can enable industry-specific solutions to continually develop as well as greater innovation.
“We really value our partnership with Microsoft and look forward to helping more organisations in the private and public sectors with their digital transformations”, concludes Christian Pedersen.
Microsoft’s explanation of its decision to award the prize to Tietoevry contains the following comments:
“Tietoevry has made remarkable progress and has paved the way for great success with Azure. They have contributed to the transition and migration of important applications to Azure, including P360. Their standardised delivery models such as Azure Foundation, Novas and Cloud Direct also generate value for the customer on a large scale. With regard to Business Applications, Tietoevry can point to strong financial results and its willingness to continually develop its level of expertise in Dynamics 365 and the Power platform. Tietoevry has also worked very well with Microsoft in order to become one of the top providers for Modern Workplace, which is underlined by our co-selling of their solutions in AppSource.”
