The five initial Swedish SUSSA regions of Blekinge, Sörmland, Västerbotten, Västernorrland and Örebro counties decided to jointly procure a new healthcare information support platform and signed an agreement with Cambio in June 2019. The new solution enables improved support for healthcare workers, increased patient safety and modern tools for patient participation. Cambio has chosen TietoEVRY as its IT operations partner, to ensure the safe and secure IT operation of the healthcare information support.
In 2020 the regions of Halland, Norrbotten, Dalarna and Gävleborg decided to join SUSSA. This means that a quarter of Sweden's population is supported by the new healthcare information platform covered by the SUSSA partnership.

The agreement covers IT operation of nine regions' healthcare information support, and runs over ten years with the possibility of extension.
