Lyse extends strategic IT partnership with Tieto

Towards Data-Driven and Cloud First IT Architecture

21 May 2019

Tieto has once again been entrusted as a main IT partner for the Norwegian industrial company Lyse. Tieto will continue to support Lyse with innovation, competitiveness and customer oriented experiences.

Since Tieto and Lyse started working together in 2016, a good partnership has developed. The initial three-year contract included an option for a two-year extension. Lyse has now exercised this option and in addition added a two-year option to the contract.

Tieto will help Lyse increase speed to market for new products and services, thus strengthening Lyse’s capability for developing innovative solutions.

We are looking forward to continuing to implement the next generation of IT services in cooperation with Tieto. Tieto has been a dedicated strategic partner since 2016 and understands our future business and technology needs”, says Geir Arve Vika, IT Director at Lyse Group.

Tieto will deliver data driven services, cloud solutions, infrastructure operations and data centre services to Lyse and broad end user IT support to 1200 employees and consultants in Lyse. The contract includes workplace support, service desk and local service support, as well as technical operational support for Lyse’s application portfolio. At the same time, Tieto is in lead to help Lyse achieve its future Cloud First IT architecture, where data driven business and information analysis are key drivers for success.

We are very happy that Lyse is giving us renewed confidence. And we will continue to develop modern and flexible IT solutions that support Lyse’s unique market position”, says Frank Rodahl, Customer Executive at Tieto.
