Tieto signs agreement with City of Stockholm to deliver digital support for welfare and healthcare services

City of Stockholm and Tieto are deepening their cooperation. The new agreement includes tools for Business Process Management (BPM) and digital support for welfare and healthcare services. The deal is valid until March 2026 and includes an option to extend it for seven years.

City of Stockholm has come a long way when it comes to offering digital services. The procurement of BPM tools for digital support within its social services, as well as municipal healthcare services, is yet another investment by City of Stockholm to realize its’ vision of becoming the world’s smartest city by the year 2040.

The Business Process Management platform enables modeling, automation, execution, control, measurement and flow optimization. In combination with support, maintenance, consulting services and training as well as qualitative support, Tieto will be able to meet digital support needs within the welfare services as well as the municipal health and social care services.
