(Oslo, 8 June 2018) The Gjensidige Group has decided to enter into a new contract with EVRY as the company’s core supplier of technological solutions and digital services over the next years. The parties have signed a Letter of Intent, where EVRY is committed to provide Gjensidige with next generation digital services, including private and public cloud solutions. The contract also includes delivery of a new infrastructure platform build on automation and bespoke solutions, which will enable Gjensidige to accelerate innovation and in an efficient way deliver new and better services to its customers and employees. The agreement covers all business areas within Gjensidige with approx. 4 800 employees across the Nordic and Baltic regions. The contract represents a total value of approx. NOK 470 million over 5 years, with options to extend for additional two years.
EVRY was awarded the contract based on an overall assessment of delivery model and technological solutions, that facilitates innovation and focuses on security and compliance, in combination with flexibility and scalability. Gjensidige has been through an extensive tender process, where EVRY won the contract in strong competition with international providers within the IT Services space.
The Letter of Intent is subject to reporting requirements pursuant to Section 4c of the Norwegian Financial Supervision Act.
