Tieto has been acknowledged as a Strong Performer in “The Forrester Wave™: Hosted Private Cloud Services In Europe, Q3 2017” (Forrester Research, Inc., July 2017). Forrester’s 33-criteria evaluation looked at the seven most significant providers of hosted private cloud in the European market.
According to the Forrester report "Tieto combines Nordic depth with a clear hybrid cloud vision". "...Tieto has a strong heritage in its local market, and a vision that encompasses hosting, management of workloads in hyperscale public clouds and inside customer data centers, and the hosted private cloud solution evaluated here”.
The report also states that “With their Tieto OneCloud brand, the company tells an explicitly hybrid story that recognizes the reality facing many of their customers today”. Tieto believes that this is backed up by the findings in the Cloud Maturity Index survey, a recent study of 270 Nordic IT executives, which revealed that the use of cloud services is at record levels – but only 1 in 7 of Nordic organizations are cloud mature.
According to the Forrester report: “Support and compliance are tailored to the needs of Tieto’s local region, where the company’s data centers meet the strict requirements of local governments and their financial regulators, and also comply with relevant European legislation.”
The report further states that “Tieto has a good road map towards its future as a trusted digital partner and the company is implementing systems and processes to help it deliver, if it can stay the course.”
