Infopulse Ukraine comments on decision related to allegation for anticompetitive action in a government tender in 2017

17 December 2021

On December 15, 2021 Infopulse Ukraine was fined by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, along with six other companies. The fines, approximately EUR 72000, were imposed due to allegations of anticompetitive action in connection to a government tender in 2017. Infopulse did not win the bid, and the tender had a very limited value.

TietoEVRY takes these accusations very seriously. TietoEVRY requires all its employees, subsidiaries and partners globally to act according to the laws and regulations of each operating country as well as TietoEVRY’s ethical guideline Code of Conduct.

TietoEVRY sees that this decision was made without due process and Infopulse Ukraine did not have the opportunity to properly familiarize itself with the evidence put forward by the authority, therefore the company is conducting an independent investigation with external partners to clarify the matter. Based on the results of investigation TietoEVRY will analyze the merits of the decision and consider whether to challenge the decision.

TietoEVRY has zero tolerance towards any unethical behavior or misconduct in its operations, and requires all employees worldwide including subsidiaries, suppliers and their subcontractors to comply with the national legislation and the principles set out in the company’s ethical guidelines, Code of Conduct. TietoEVRY’s Code of Conduct is in accordance with the UN Global Compact and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
