OBOS-banken chooses TietoEVRY’s new CRM banking solution to gain seamless access to their banking systems

17 November 2020

OBOS-banken, the bank subsidiary of Norwegian property management company OBOS BBL, wanted to better utilize key data in order to improve customer satisfaction, reduce customer churn and increase sales on existing customer portfolio.

“Seamless access from CRM to our banking systems, access to consultants with expert knowledge of CRM within the finance industry, and synergies from using the same platform as the rest of OBOS BBL were our main requirements when choosing the future CRM platform for OBOS-banken. Customer Engagement Banking from TietoEVRY delivers on all these requirements,” says Hanne Leknes, Project Manager at OBOS-banken.

TietoEVRY developed Customer Engagement Banking (CEB), a CRM solution built for the banking industry in the Nordics and based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 – one of the first in the world.

CEB gives bank employees a holistic overview of ongoing initiatives and opportunities. When a customer contacts the bank, information on what touchpoints the customer has had with the bank as well as other relevant customer information is readily available to the bank employee. This enables the employee to provide the customer with tailored advisory based on their current situation. For bank users, this means that all key information is located in one place and that it is easy for them to navigate to their banking systems.

“OBOS-banken is our first new customer on Customer Engagement Banking. Along with building competence on Dynamics 365 it allows us to begin the journey of expanding inside of Microsoft’s Azure universe. The need for good CRM solutions is proving to be of increasing importance to the banking industry and we predict more banks in the Nordics to follow OBOS-banken path,” says Kine Nordsveen, Head of Customer Engagement Banking at TietoEVRY.

The solution was developed in close collaboration with Microsoft and will launch in the first quarter of 2021.

“With the new Customer Engagement Banking, TietoEVRY has shown remarkable progress and a willingness to constantly develop its level of expertise in Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. With the first client secured already on CEB, I’m looking forward to continuing delivering great value to the customers in the cloud with Microsoft Partner of the Year, TietoEVRY,“ says Morten Elvestrand, Microsoft Norway Solution Specialist.
