Today, we’re unveiling Nova 19R2, a new architecture for our debt collection platform that will result in a complete service-based application with easy integration to essential features at its core. A key feature of Nova 19R2 is Tieto Collection APIs.
The first half of 2019 has brought some major developments in Nova, especially in the field of APIs. As a result, the shape of customer experience is about to undergo some big and valuable shifts. With the cornerstones now put in place, and more building blocks being added continuously, we look forward to speeding up our delivery of APIs bringing value to our customers’ business. Considering the near future, we see features like interest calculation, automated API deployment and new payments coming up.
With Nova 19R2, we are launching Tieto Collection APIs to easily access the functionalities of Nova. They come with the support of an API gateway, a single-entry point for all the services. An application layer can be used to distribute information and services to new audiences and can be personalised to create new custom user experiences. Through logical and evolving Data Transfer Objects (DTOs) we are providing a structured way of communicating with Nova.
