Tomas Elken, currently Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of Tieto, will in addition to his current duties, take on the role of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) as of 11 June. This is a continuation of Alexandra Drevenlid (CDO) pursuing new challenges outside Tieto as announced earlier.
“I want to thank Alexandra for her contribution during the past years. I warmly welcome Tomas to his new combined role as CIO and CPO of Tieto. In addition to procurement and facility management, Tomas has an extensive background in various IT leadership roles, which will form a good foundation for taking us forward on our digitalization roadmap,” says Kimmo Alkio, CEO of Tieto.

In his new combined role Tomas Elken will continue reporting to the CFO Lasse Heinonen.
