IDC Financial Insights has ranked Tieto 22nd in its Top 25 Enterprise FinTech Rankings for 2018 - the only Nordic company to be awarded a place. This is the second year running that Tieto, one of the leading IT service providers in Europe, has been included in the prestigious global rankings, 1 spot up from last year.
Each year IDC classifies the top technology providers to the financial services industry, by evaluating calendar year revenues from financial institutions around the world for hardware, software and services. The ranking recognizes IT providers that have enabled a genuine, measurable, and future-enabling change at a client financial institution in the worldwide financial services industry.

The IDC FinTech Rankings Enterprise 25 companies are enterprise/horizontal technology firms that provide products and services across multiple industries and have significant reported revenue in the financial services industry, but less than 1/3 of revenue from financial institutions.
Winners were announced on September 24th at an invitation-only event at the Finovate Fall conference in New York.
