Tieto has won contracts in most of the tender areas that were up for bids in the National Procurement Services’ new framework agreements for IT services within the public sector for Swedish counties Jönköping, Kronoberg, Kalmar, Gotland, Blekinge, Skåne, Halland and Västra Götaland.
Tieto made bids in four of the seven categories and was a winner in all of them, in close collaboration with its new acquisition Avega.
The contracts were awarded by Sweden’s National Procurement Services and was based on the best relationship between price and quality. Tieto received the maximum 100 points in three categories, and 97.39 points in the fourth.
The framework agreements are valid until 2020 with an option for an additional two years.
Tieto received the highest number of points in the following categories:

The National Procurement Services at Kammarkollegiet is responsible for signing framework agreements for products and services that are intended for government agencies.
