Taneli Tikka, Head of Innovation, Data-Driven Businesses has decided to pursue new opportunities outside Tieto as CEO of Vake Oy, the Finland State Development Company. Taneli’s last day at Tieto is 19 June.
“I want to thank Tieto and all my colleagues for an extremely exciting journey. I’m saddened to leave but also excited to take on a new role in building future-proof Finnish society with help of AI and platform economy,” says Taneli Tikka.
“Taneli has truly left his mark in developing data-driven businesses at Tieto. He has held a key role developing Tieto’s thought leadership, and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” says Ari Järvelä, Head of Data-Driven Businesses, Tieto.
Vake Oy was established by the Finnish government late 2016 as a state-owned company with the purpose to found, own, govern and develop other limited companies, several of which today are Tieto customers. “In today’s world of ecosystems, I look forward to continuing working together with Tieto and other partners to continue creating a smarter Finnish society,” Tikka concludes.
