On October 12th 2018, Tieto Compliance Cloud renewed its validation of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certificate for its Infrastructure-as-a-Service services. It is now compliant with the latest PCI DSS version, 3.2.1.
PCI DSS is a security standard that all organisations including online retailers must follow when storing, processing and transmitting their customers' credit card data. Led by VISA and MasterCard, it aims to give a robust standard to enhance payment card data security.
The certificate covers all the major platforms, both IBM Power (IBM i and AIX) and x86 Virtual and Physical (Windows and Linux) IaaS. The validation has been done by Nixu AB, one of the leading Qualified Security Assessors (QSA) in the Nordics.
