Tieto has named Gawel Mikolajczyk as Head of Tieto Security Operations, a part of Tieto Security Services. Gawel Mikolajczyk will be on the Tieto Security Services leadership team, and his responsibilities include leading and developing the Tieto Security Operations Center (SOC).

Gawel Mikolajczyk joins Tieto from Cisco, where he was responsible for developing the global security operations and SOC functions in Poland and Japan. Prior to this, Gawel Mikolajczyk spent almost a decade in Architect, Security Consulting and Systems Engineering roles at Cisco.
Gawel Mikolajczyk holds numerous security industry certificates, including CCIE #24987, CISSP-ISSAP, CISM, CISA, C|EH and SFCE. He is a frequent speaker on cybersecurity topics at IT conferences globally.
