The vision of the Connected Industry Ecosystem is to transform rapidly increasing data into creative new business, bringing radically added value to customers in the manufacturing industry. The goal is to refine new products and services out of data.
The needs of companies and consumers are rapidly changing in the market due to digitalization. The value chains of manufacturing industry are also moving due to digitalization towards networks, where people, products, appliances and services as well as production systems and communities are connected. Data lies at the heart of this change.
Connected Industry brings together leading companies such as Tieto, Cargotec, Fastems, HT-Laser, Konecranes, Nokia, Ponsse, Prima Power, Raute and SSAB to combine forces and share data to develop radically new business with customers’ needs in the core. Tieto is proud to be a part of the ecosystem. Ecosystems helps all parties involved reap the full benefits of each other’s knowledge. Rapid innovation is possible in ways not often available for only a single company.

In the ecosystem, the companies combine their forces and share their data to develop radically new business, where customer needs are in the core. Artificial intelligence is applied to companies’ activities and platforms and standards are built to enable data sharing between the participants.
