Functionalities

Optimization

Optimization capabilities are delivered by proprietary components that have stood the test of time, yet are continuously being improved. Objectives include • waste (length and width-wise) • profit • knife changes • setups The user is presented with a number of solutions (typically 5), so it is possible to choose from amongst the alternatives. Manual alterations of the solutions are also supported.

Graphical user interface

The graphical user interface is intuitive and minimizes the training time. Click the below button to see an image of it.

System integration

A variety of interfaces is available, supporting both incoming information (orders, coils) and outgoing (solutions), as well as to some industry-specific metals solutions. Excel® can be used to support short-term trials.

Advanced functionality

The solution also provides - optimization around coil defects - make-to-stock side runs - coil ordering: optional module to identify the best possible coil size (in a given range) to meet a given demand
