Tietoevry Create at Forbes Romania CEE Forum 2024

Tietoevry Create participated in the Forbes CEE Forum 2024 in Romania – the most significant regional event organized since 2014. The conference gathered representatives from business, politics, and regulatory organizations to discuss the key economic, leadership, and business trends in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

This 3-day event took place on Sep. 17-19, 2024, at NORD Events Center by Globalworth, Bucharest, Romania. Each day of the conference was dedicated to specific topics:

• Day 1 sessions explored global economic trends, the impact of geopolitical changes, and strategies to navigate the uncertainty and volatility in business. The topics included fiscal policies, foreign investment, and ways technological innovations boost competitiveness in the European market.
• Day 2 discussions focused on leadership in uncertain times, balancing risks and opportunities, the role of Romania in the regional economic hub, and the importance of digital transformation for business growth.
• Day 3 was dedicated to entrepreneurship, sustainable business development, succession planning, expanding into international markets, and engaging younger generations like Gen Z in business.

As one of the leaders in technology solutions, Tietoevry Create focused on exploring how businesses in Central and Eastern Europe could leverage digital transformation, automation, and intelligent technologies to stay competitive in the evolving global market.

Our special part was the “RE DESIGN – Digital transformation and business innovation” panel discussion on Sep.18. During this session, Łukasz Olechnowicz, Global Director of Business Enablement at Tietoevry Create, uncovered the impact of automation and related technologies on business. Together with other speakers, the following topics were discussed:

• The labor market changes in the context of digitalization and automation
• The economic impact of emerging technologies like AI and Blockchain
• Ways of driving innovation and creativity in a work environment
• Practices of embracing digital transformation by traditional companies
• Strategies for implementing digital transformation in an organization.

Through this engagement, Tietoevry Create reinforced its commitment to empowering businesses with actionable solutions and strategies to grow sustainably through innovation.

In September, I was representing Tietoevry at the Forbes Romania CEE Forum, where I participated as a panelist discussing business digitization and change management. The most important for me was the opportunity to meet directly with C-level executives from Romanian companies. These interactions allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the business needs and economic development in this vibrant country. This is just the beginning of our journey in Romania, but we are excited to support our partners in the region on their path to digital transformation.
