Managing Complex Projects
Do you face complex challenges in your projects?
Do you need advanced planning methods?
Are you required to coordinate different production models?
This course covers a wide range of topics and combines exercises with theory. It builds on the PPS Project Management course and takes a deeper look at many of the competencies previously covered, while also introducing new areas. We focus on overarching themes such as how to adapt the project to different production models—e.g., agile—and how to identify the most effective strategy for delivering project results to maximize contribution to the expected benefit and support ongoing business operations. The balance between the project and the base organisation affects our ability to manage the project. Other aspects that can expand your toolbox for more complex projects include enhanced options for WBS, milestones, estimation, earned value, and risk calculations to define an appropriate risk reserve.
