The challenge centers around the pressing issue of chronic pain management and the associated problems of substance abuse and opioid misuse. Chronic pain affects millions worldwide, and effective management is crucial for patient well-being. However, the overreliance on opioid medications has led to a crisis of addiction and misuse. This challenge calls for innovative solutions to address these issues, offering safer, more effective alternatives, or support, for chronic pain management.

Your challenge is to develop digital solutions that enhance chronic pain management while reducing the risks of substance abuse and opioid misuse. These solutions should prioritize non-pharmacological approaches, or approaches supporting medication, such as physical therapy, mindfulness, or other innovative techniques, to alleviate pain and improve the quality of life for individuals suffering from chronic pain. Your solution can make a significant impact on the well-being of countless individuals, ensuring they have access to safer and more sustainable pain management solutions, help combat medical misuse and improve the lives of those dealing with chronic pain.
