Tieto signs frame agreement with Orange Business for the provision of capacity and managed services

Tieto and Orange Business have signed a framework agreement whereby Orange Business is becoming a significant capacity and related managed services provider for Tieto. The deployment will entail gradual transition of services in scope from Tieto’s current provider who will continue to be an important supplier to Tieto beyond the scope of this frame agreement.

The agreement with Orange Business covers all four businesses of Tieto and common corporate-level IT services. Tieto Banktech is already today confirmed to opt for the services of Orange Business, with first migrations to Cloud Avenue, Orange Business’ sovereign European cloud platform, beginning in the second half of 2026. Other Tieto businesses are foreseen to follow gradually during an approximate two-year transition period and would establish their distinct plans in due time and manner. In addition to business continuity, key criteria in choosing the future partner include potential to support in the company’s European expansion and competitive cost levels.

At this initial stage of the collaboration, Tieto and Orange Business are not disclosing financial or other details regarding the agreement.
