Finnish energy distribution company trusts Tieto's Network Information System

The northern Finnish electricity distribution company Haukiputaan Sähköosuuskunta has selected Tieto’s cloud-based solution as its Network Information System (NIS). The new system enables the digital management of the entire electricity network, from overall network planning through to maintenance. 

Tieto’s NIS is a browser-based solution developed to meet market needs and can be used independently of time and location. The system can also be extended to include the company’s partners, supporting collaboration, and sharing up-to-date information. 

The new system streamlines the energy distribution company’s key processes: automation and digitalization reduce manual work, and the system also supports the reporting of network assets to the Finnish Energy Authority.
