The President and CEO is appointed by the Board and is responsible for the Group’s operative management, internal efficiency and quality. The President and CEO is assisted by the Executive Management, which includes heads of businesses as well as Head of HR, Head of Strategy and CFO.
Kimmo Alkio
President and CEO
Kimmo joined Tieto in 2011, and brings over 30 years of technology experience, from senior roles at F-Secure, Nokia and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Klaus Andersen
CEO, Tietoevry Banking
Klaus joined Tietoevry as the CEO1) of Tietoevry Banking in 2023. Since 2019, he served as the CEO of Basware, a company focusing on cloud-based purchase-to-pay technologies. Prior to Basware, he held various leadership positions with global software companies in financial services.
1) Andersen reports to Kimmo Alkio and is a member of the Group Executive Management Team. As the strategic review of Tietoevry Banking proceeds to potential listing, Andersen will report to the business’ external Board of Directors, which will be established at a later date.
Kishore Ghadiyaram
Head of Strategy
Kishore joined Tieto in 2008 and has long experience in strategic planning. Various management positions prior to joining Tieto include ten years at Tata Consultancy Services.
Carsten Henke
Managing Director, Tietoevry Industry
Carsten enters the role after working 28 years for Tietoevry, including various leadership roles, latest as the Head of Pulp, Paper & Fibre business unit.
Tomi Hyryläinen
Chief Financial Officer
Tomi joined Tieto in 2018, following a long career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has gained broad international experience, working for example in Sweden and in Silicon Valley, US.
Ari Järvelä
Managing Director, Tietoevry Care
Ari has worked with Tieto since 2001, in various management positions across industries, as head of Finland and the Baltics area, and as the head of Data-Driven Businesses among others.
Satu Kiiskinen
Managing Director, Tietoevry Tech Services
Satu joined Tieto in 2013, following various management positions with Elisa, Bearing Point, Netigy and KPMG.
Harri Salomaa
Acting Managing Director, Tietoevry Create
Harri has strong international sales and technology leadership experience, from Tietoevry and previously from nearly a decade of assignments in Silicon Valley as well as his 17 years at Nokia.
Trond Vinje
Head of HR
Trond joined EVRY in 2015, following various management positions with Scandic Hotels, ISS Facility Services and Accenture.
