Meter automation

Transform your utility measurement and storage systems with lean, automated metering – a lightweight, low-cost alternative to existing systems.

Full benefit from your Advanced Metering Infrastructure

No matter which Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system provider you use, we deploy and operate them all. We have more than 15 years' experience of operating large-volume AMI infrastructures with solutions from various meter providers and can offer operational models that fit your utility’s needs.

We offer a large scale of on-premise and cloud solutions and services to Nordic energy companies. Constantly updated, scalable, modular, and flexible services will give you new opportunities for success in the changing energy market. The meter automation services help you with all parts of AMI, from planning through rollout to operation.

Our business consultants can help you in all phases of an AMI project, from a deployment or migration strategy to project execution and operation.

Key features

Meter deployment

Deployment of smart meters must be planned and executed carefully, cost-efficiently and with minimal disruption of service. On top of the various exceptions to be handled, interactions with subscribers and appointments may make planning more complicated. Our solution covers the processes and their eventualities, at the same time supporting all the aspects of deployment projects no matter their size.

Meter operations

Different meter suppliers can be integrated, and their values and events exported to your system. Metering values from any device for any utility type are collected, validated, and stored. The health of the metering infrastructure is constantly monitored. Preventive or reactive maintenance tasks are automatically initiated by interpreting the metering events.

Asset management

Asset Management is for the control of inventory, logistics and fault situations. The function supports metering infrastructure deployment with stock management and optimized warehouse distribution. A fully dynamic data model can describe any type of asset (virtual or physical), and through hierarchical asset-to-asset associations, we can model composite assets, however complex it is.

Work order management

We use our process automation engine and resource management modules to assign dynamically customized work orders to the most suitable resource based on type, location, skills, SLAs etc. Mobile applications allow field personnel to work independently of time and place. The mobile apps increase performance by always delivering relevant and accurate information on site and removing the guesswork on what needs to be reported.
