The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered outstanding Microsoft-based solutions during the past year. Awards were classified in various of categories, with honorees chosen from a set of more than 4,400 submitted nominations from more than 100 countries worldwide. TietoEVRY was nominated with the most prestige award, the 2021 Microsoft Finland Partner of the Year.

In the beginning of 2020 Microsoft and TietoEVRY also announced a strategic partnership that increases the rate of digitalisation across the Nordic region. As part of this, we announced that 3,000 TietoEVRY employees are getting certified in Microsoft Azure, which contributes to creating the largest Azure community in the Nordics. Currently over 2000 certificates are being completed.
