Our goal is not only to highlight the importance and benefits of accessibility but also to foster a sense of community and collaboration among attendees.

9:00 – 9:10: Introduction & Welcome words

9:10 – 9:40 - Short Intro to Digital Accessibility - Eeva-Jonna Panula, Accessibility Specialist, Android Developer, and Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) - will give a short introduction to digital accessibility. She'll talk about what it is, why it's crucial, and why everyone should care about it.

9:40 – 10:10 - Inclusive Recruitment And How To Do It In Practice? – Marko Jääskeläinen and Reeta Linderman are accessibility and diversity professionals who consult companies to build diverse, thus better-performing workplaces and work communities.

10:10 – 10:40 - Business Case of Accessibility - Nadia Törnroos, Accessibility Specialist, Lead Software Developer at Tietoevry Create and Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) - will cover five aspects of WHY accessibility is critical to your business.

10:40 – 10:45 – Closing words

10:45 – 11:00 – Networking

The event can be accessed through the side door located next to the main entrance, which will be clearly marked for easy identification.

A brief registration process will take place at the reception desk upon your arrival.

How to get to the venue?

By public transport: Tietoevry headquarters is situated on the northern side of the building, facing the Länsiväylä motorway. We highly recommend using public transportation or taking a taxi to reach our headquarters. The nearest metro station is Keilaniemi, while the closest bus stops are located on the Länsiväylä motorway.

By car: If you plan on arriving by car, please be aware that there are only a limited number of visitor parking spaces available in the shared parking area on Campus. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of these spaces.

Eeva-Jonna Panula
Accessibility Specialist and Senior Android Developer
Eevis is an IAAP Certified Professional in Web Accessibility and Women Techmakers Ambassador. Her passion is to share knowledge, and she speaks and writes a blog. When she is not doing that, she explores the beautiful Finnish nature with her kayak.
Reeta Lindeman
Co-Founder & Creative Director, C Diversity
Reeta is a specialist on accessibility, diversity and inclusion. You may wonder why her title is "Creative director" - not accessibility consultant. Reeta has the ability to make companies understand the value of accessibility and DEI-issues – sometimes, it requires creativity!
