Region Stockholm has awarded Tietoevry with the outsourcing contract to transform the region's entire IT infrastructure and application environment. As part of the agreement, Tietoevry will provide leading hybrid-cloud and AI-ops capabilities that offers a cost-efficient, future-proof and cohesive delivery model. The contract is valid for five years, with an option for an extension of a maximum of seven additional years with a total contract value of approximately one billion SEK.
The agreement ensures an agile and cost-efficient setup that allows Region Stockholm to focus on its core operations, while citizens and personnel gets access to modern digital services and solutions. Region Stockholm is one of Sweden’s largest employers with 45000 employees.

Region Stockholm's based its procurement evaluation on different key criteria's and assessed customer references. Tietoevry was awarded the contract based on the relationship between price and quality, with Tietoevry having both the lowest price and the best quality.
