IFS ERP cloud solution to drive manufacturing and supply-chain efficiency and visibility across company sites in six countries.
London, June 2, 2020 – IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Suzuki Garphyttan, a world-leading supplier of advanced spring wire and part of the Japanese Nippon Steel Corporation, has selected IFS Applications™ in partnership with TietoEVRY to support all mission-critical business processes, from business opportunity to delivery.
Originally established in 1906, Sweden-based Suzuki Garphyttan has been manufacturing advanced spring wire for more than a century. With plans to expand its market share in target sectors such as automotive, food and beverage, and medical equipment, the company needed to replace its legacy business solutions with a central ERP platform capable of driving its business process from end to end across its global operations.
Operating against stringent requirements in the form of quality assurance, legal compliance, and reliable product delivery, Suzuki Garphyttan wanted a comprehensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform that supports the business beyond traditional manufacturing processes. The solution also needed to support product planning, testing, and tracking throughout the company’s supply chain.
Following a comprehensive evaluation process, Suzuki Garphyttan selected IFS Applications in the IFS Managed Cloud and TietoEVRY as an implementation partner.
