The Device Detection Application (DDA) provides support for the development of device management applications and equipment registers for 2G/3G and 4G LTE networks. With dual operation it can simultaneously serve both legacy and latest generation networks.
DDA detects when a new handset enters the network, via IMSI-Attach or location update, allowing it to be automatically configured by the device management application using normal over-the-air activation mechanisms.
For networks without an EIR implementation DDA can act as a virtual EIR or having the DDA user application provide terminal status, acting as a real EIR.
For networks with an existing EIR multiple deployment modes are available for a smooth integration with existing equipment.

Device Detection
Connect smarter with seamless Device Detection for all legacy and LTE networks.

Sales Manager

Shortening TTM
High level API’s reduce signaling complexity for applications, thus shortening integration time and assuring Time to Market.

Co-location
Co-location option with access to full protocol stack APIs for additional application development.

Dual operation
Dual operation, supporting both 2G/3G and 4G LTE networks in the same solution.
Device Detection key features

Providing the triplet
Allows for automatic device detection and configuration by providing the triplet (IMSI, IMEI, MSISDN) of the detected device.
Allows rapid development
Allows for rapid EIR development for both 2G/3G and 4G LTE. Easy to use also for other applications, such as welcome SMS solutions, where the triplet is of interest (IMEI, IMSI, MSISDN).

Multi vendor support
Network integrated with numerous equipment suppliers, including Nokia, Ericsson and Huawei.
Virtualization ready
There are ready-made integrations of the DDA with numerous virtualized platforms such as VMware, OpenStack and selected proprietary virtualized platforms, as well as containerized platforms.

Run-time scalability
It is possible to add or remove instances of the DDA in different cores without bringing the whole system down.
