Tech Utsav is a celebration of technology and innovation and provides a forum to Tietoevry India's developer community to bring their 'ideas to reality' and demonstrate their innovative solutions in exhibition booths.
We are happy to announce that Tietoevry India hosted the 14th edition of Tech Utsav, its annual flagship tech fest, on 22 May 2024, and the event was a huge success.
The event began with an inaugural lamp-lighting ceremony, a Ganesha Vandana, a traditional dance performance and an inaugural video message from Kimmo Alkio, President and CEO of Tietoevry Group, officially declaring Tech Utsav 2024 open. Tietoevry Create leaders Harri Salomaa (Acting Managing Director at Tietoevry Create) and Rajnish Mohan (Country Manager at Tietoevry India and Head of Tietoevry Create India) delivered their welcome addresses.
The day-long event was packed with exciting activities, including a keynote speech on the ‘Rise of AI’ by eminent industry expert Jayanth Kolla (Founder & Partner at Convergence Catalyst), followed by a panel discussion on ‘Reimagining Customer Value Creation’. This panel discussion was moderated by Krithika Subramani and featured Smita Singh (VP of Engineering at symplr); Joshua Marquart (Head of Healthcare); and Kåre Nygård (Head of Chapters).
The exhilarating Drum Jam performance united everyone in a spirit of celebration and camaraderie.
This performance was followed by a panel discussion on ‘The Power of Diversity and Inclusion in Driving Innovation’. This panel discussion was moderated by Mala Chandrashekar and featured Andreea Adamut (Head of People and Culture at Tietoevry Create), Jay Miller (Head of Americas); Anitha Lakshmipathy (AVP Healthcare at Tietoevry Create and iLEAD chairperson) and Vinu Sekhar (Head of HR at Tietoevry Create).
Later, the Tietoevry Create India All-Employees Townhall, was moderated by Varsha Shekhar and featured Harri Salomaa (Acting Managing Director, Tietoevry Create); Rajnish Mohan (Head of Tietoevry Create India); Jay Miller (Head of Americas Market); and Kåre Nygård (Head of Chapters). This townhall was attended in person by Bangalore employees and virtually by employees from Pune and Chandigarh.
A special thanks to our distinguished speakers and panel members for sharing their expertise and thought-provoking ideas. Their presence added immense value and significance to our gathering and their insights and perspectives contributed to rich discussions and meaningful interactions throughout the event.
The heart of this event was our dedicated demo team members and pitch participants, who not only showcased cutting-edge technology and innovation but also played a pivotal role in the success of Tech Utsav 2024. Special thanks to Dennis Royal (Chapter Lead Design); and Aaron Whitney (Head of New Business at Tietoevry Create) and Shashi Singh (VP Digital Innovation at Tietoervy Create) for hearing and selecting the winner pitches and inspiring the participating teams.
