The ATAGTR Conference 2024 concluded recently with a great success, attracting a significant number of participants from diverse technology industries. The conference was held virtually on November 16 and 17, and in-person at Bird Valley Wakad Restaurant, Pune, on December 8.

Yagneshkumar Tailor, Lead Software Architect - Security at Tietoevry Care addressed key trends like AI-driven automation and remote work in his session on ‘Navigating the Ethical Frontier: Cybersecurity in the Future of Work’. He offered practical strategies for maintaining security, efficiency, and fairness in the evolving digital workspace.
Rohit Kamble, Project Manager, Tietoevry Care and Rahul Kawadkar, Product Development Manager, Tietoevry Care jointly discussed the topic ‘Unlocking Efficiency: Harnessing Generative AI for Unmatched Productivity’ and showcased the importance of Gen AI adoption, offered practical insights and a demo that reinforced how embracing Gen AI is crucial in today's business environment.
Rohan Shet, Lead Customer Experience Manager, Tietoevry Care, shared insights on ‘Unlocking Potential: Leveraging Generative AI for Enhanced Productivity and Business Success’. His use of the car analogy simplified complex concepts, while his perspective on aligning engineering, sales, and product management efforts with business goals was thought-provoking.

Highlights of the in-person conference:
Priya Tandon, Head of Operational Excellence and Global Delivery Centers, Tietoevry Care, delivered a keynote session titled ‘The Jedi Code: AI’s Force for Ultimate Productivity’. In her presentation, Priya blended Star Wars with AI’s transformative power. She highlighted both the benefits (Light Side)—boosting productivity, creativity, and decision-making—and the challenges (Dark Side), which involve misuse, over-reliance, and security risks. Her key message included that the responsibility for harnessing AI lies with us, and the choices we make today will shape our future—whether we use it to innovate or face its pitfalls.
Priya also participated as a panelist in CaféATAhon, a Women Leadership Panel Discussion on 'Human Oversight vs. AI Efficiency: Is Reliance on AI for QA Encouraging Complacency in Software Development, Testing, and Quality Assurance?'. The discussion delved into the future of AI in QA and software development.
Rajeshwar Patil, Lead Software Architect, Tietoevry Care, shared valuable insights on the topic ‘Optimizing CI Pipeline by Leveraging Intelligent Triage System’ focusing on optimizing continuous integration for more efficient software delivery.
Tietoevry Care also hosted an exhibition booth showcasing offerings and services that simplify everyday life in the healthcare and welfare sector.
The day was filled with enriching learning sessions, insightful panel discussions, engaging quizzes, exciting networking opportunities, and plenty of fun, leaving participants inspired and energized.
