Tietoevry India successfully collaborated with Youth For Parivarthan on a CSR initiative to transform the Government School in Bychaguppe Village

As part of this CSR effort, Tietoevry India and Youth For Parivarthan joined forces to give the school a much-needed facelift, reviving the school premises and uplifting the morale of all those involved.

This initiative stemmed from Tietoevry India's commitment to community service, where one of the most popular proposals was the beautification of a government school. To bring this idea to reality, we partnered with Youth For Parivarthan, who specialize in such transformative projects.

Together, Tietoevry India and Youth For Parivarthan made an agreement to equally share the expenses of future activities and began the process of identifying suitable schools or locations. After extensive research, we selected the Government Lower Primary School in Bychaguppe Village, Bengaluru South Taluk

Youth For Parivarthan coordinated with the school, gathered the necessary details, and finalized the plans and dates for the activity. Meanwhile, Tietoevry India handled the preparatory work, including securing approvals, sending emails to collect donations, and arranging essential supplies such as T-shirts, masks, gloves, and water.

On Sunday August 11, all 30 volunteers from Tietoevry India assembled at the office by 7:30 am. Transportation, including a minibus and cars, was arranged to shuttle the volunteers to and from the school. Upon arrival, the volunteers were briefed on the day's activities, and multiple teams were formed to handle various tasks such as scrubbing walls, painting, and cleaning.

As the volunteers painted, the school children eagerly joined in, assisting with the work. Their enthusiasm was evident as they sang and danced, creating a lively atmosphere that our employees gladly participated in, engaging with the children and enhancing the sense of community.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who generously contributed funds, all of which were effectively utilized during the event. A special recognition goes to our 30 employee volunteers, whose unwavering enthusiasm ensured the smooth execution of this initiative. A special mention to our leaders for their wonderful support in making the event a success.

The project involved a comprehensive renovation of the school’s infrastructure, including fresh coats of paint, vibrant educational murals, and significant enhancements to the overall aesthetics of the premises. The school now radiates a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, bringing joy to both students and staff.
