We’re looking for a UX Designer to join our cause to simplify everyday life in schools!

TietoEVRY Education has a vision to simplify everyday life in schools. Our products are not only targeting the professionals working at school, but also students and legal guardians. We build our products like mobile apps or web-based solutions.

Part of your job will be to establish how people are using our products. You understand how users behave and their user journeys. You have a great amount of empathy for the daily struggles of our users. Together with your deep knowledge of interaction models and usability principles you will design amazing products. You are also continuously improving the design process in the organization. Forming and influencing how designers, development teams and product management will work together to provide a great user experience. An experience that will truly simplify everyday life in schools.

In a nutshell, as a UX Designer you get to:

1. Work closely with users, designers, development teams and product management to create incredible products.
2. Improve the design process in a software development organization.
3. Evolve the design system.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Empathy for users
  • Experience in working with user research
  • Interest in service design
  • Passion for visual communication
  • Deep knowledge in how to maintain and develop a design system
  • Fluency in wireframing and prototyping for web and mobile
  • Experience of working with guidelines for accessibility e.g., WCAG 2.0
