In TietoEVRY we are more than 20 legal counsels in four countries handling legal tasks and execution of the group's strategy, seven of whom are located in Sweden. We support the executive teams in making informed decisions based on principles of commercial opportunity and risk management. In TietoEVRY Group's legal team we focus on general business support and how it best contributes to new concepts and identifies and mitigates risks in the group's business and transactions. Group legal also advises in daily business operations, including e.g. drafting of contracts and negotiations, as well as claims and dispute handling. In addition to having good legal and tech business understanding, our lawyers are experienced in various specific legal areas, such as privacy and data protection, disputes, and competition law.

Now we are looking for a business-minded legal professional holding a Master of Laws degree and more than five years of working experience, preferably within the contract and corporate law. You should have a holistic and business-minded understanding of the law and thrive in a fast-paced international environment that encourages diversity in culture, skills, and knowledge. Modern IT industry, digitalization, and meaningful work might be close to your heart and you want to be a life-long learner with contagious energy and spirit.

You will primarily act as legal counsel for our business lines in Sweden, assisting business lines and taking responsibility for relevant legal matters, while at the same time being part of the global legal team. Cross-border assistance and sharing of work are also often required within the Legal team. 

We expect you to be:

  • expert in our Legal field, incl. tech law
  • business- and solution-oriented 
  • fully comfortable working in an English language environment
  • sociable, willing to develop and learn
