Test Engineer (for Telco)

Our Radio department develops new project related to 5G technology. To maintain high quality in our projects, we are looking for Regular and Senior Test Engineers to deal with  the full range of issues within the QA area such as test planning, preparation, execution, analysis and documentation of test results. 

Mainly tests are realizing manual, but there is also opportunity to develop and maintain test automation using Python and/or Internal Test Framework

As Test Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Test plan, test line design and test execution including co-operation with development team to set up complex test environment in order to commence test execution.
• Executing manual test cases with a deeper domain/customer knowledge.
• Development of test automation scripts using internal test framework

• Preparation of test data needed for test automation
• Providing support for development teams in terms of testing activities
• Working with specification and checking delivered SW. Tasks also include reproducing SW defects.

We expect you to have:

• Technical studies
• At least 2 years of experience in SW validation
• Good analytical thinking
• Linux knowledge
• Telecom knowledge
• Ability to assimilate new technologies quickly
• “Can do” attitude
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl)
• Good English (written and spoken) ​

Nice to have qualifications:

• Competence in using test frameworks (for example Robot Framework)
• ISTQB certificate (foundation level)
• Experience in software test automation
