Sr. Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to test automation strategy, automation plan.
• Develop and lead test automation solutions for applications across products Desktop, web platform in collaboration with feature teams.
• Adhere to existing standards; provide suggestion to improve and set new standards.
• Collaborate with developers, Product Owners to produce high quality Test Automation Scripts.
• Configure, maintain automation tools and frameworks considering various aspects like performance, security etc.
• Design and create robust automated test scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Integrate test automation scripts with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline using Azure.

Skills and Experience:

• 4-8 years of experience in Test Automation
• Very strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design using C#.
• Strong experience on Test automation tools- Selenium with C#, API test automation tool, Spec Flow, Protractor etc.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing Test Automation Frameworks
• Good experience in creating and executing tests (Automation/ Functional/ Performance/Security Test) as applicable aligning to overall test strategy defined.
• Explore, develop, and enhance framework for Performance Testing, Security Testing
• Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches.
• Able to identify processes and tools that will optimize and improve the quality of testing.
• Able to participate in developing Test Automation Roadmap.
• Hands on experience in automation development and execution using Azure.
• Able to analyze and develop Test Data required to achieve desired test coverage
• Knowledge on Test Data preparation tools
• Good Knowledge on API test automation, etc.
• Good understanding of BDD/TDD.
• Knowledge (Experience) on CI/CD and DevOps – Azure.
• Experience of working in Agile Methodology.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to communicate with all stakeholders.
