You will be part of rather newly established centralized team meaning that you will have an amazing opportunity to be a part of start-up culture where you can influence a lot ways of working and direction we are going, and at the same time feel yourself as a part of big organization, which will support you in your new adventure. As a member of TietoEVRY’s Financial Services’s centralised Data and AI team you will be in close collaboration with the colleagues in all software product units. Your main task is to take a grip on the data assets of our softwares and services and transform that to customer and business value. We expect you to have passion to develop scalable services powered by state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and machine learning.

To succeed in this role, you should fulfill:
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Data Science, quantitative mathematics, statistics, econometrics or other similar academic background (PhD is an asset)
At least 3 years practical experience as Data scientist/data analyst or similar role
Experience in working with cloud environments, preferably Azure, or at least AWS and/or GCP
Fluency in Python and/or R, SQL, other programming languages are asset
Experience in developing and implementing machine learning/AI/statistical models
Experience in documenting and versioning data science solutions (+ experience in tools like Git, DVC, etc.)
Hands-on experience working with data integrations, data acquisition, data processing and data modelling
Experience with data-serialization formats like XML, JSON, etc.
Fluency in English
Not requirements but valuable assets:
Experience in advanced cloud data platform system configuration including SQL databases, datalakes, data integration services (like Azure Data Factory) and data analytics platforms (like Databricks)
Experience with noSQL databases
Knowledge of the major big data solutions like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Databricks, Spark and Kafka
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD as well as knowledge of docker and kubernetes
Experience working with financial industry
