Overall information

An Operational Technical Team Lead (OTTL) is the main technical focal point and will ensure delivery by the technical part of the contract. The OTTL role is an optional role that shall be utilized only on customers with a defined need for coordination within the operation. The need can stem from size, complexity, contractual obligation, lack of customer IT department, etc. The OTTL role shall be used for a defined customer or group of customers. The OTTL leads our customer technical team for a customer or group of customers in Cloud & Infra. An operational technical team is a virtual team of key resources involved in a customer's operation, and resources can belong to units from all over TietoEVRY. 

Responsibility:

  • Lead a virtual team of technical resources 
  • Facilitate the collaboration between technicians to ensure the quality of the service delivery both internally and third parties in the customer delivery ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain Customer-specific knowledge of the overall delivery and architecture as well as the business, IT purpose and criticality.
  • Initiate and facilitate frequent stand-up meetings as needed
  • Active participation in status and operational meetings with the Customer and delivery chain 
  • Ensure that technical services are delivered according to contract
  • Drive and present operational CSI for a customer solution
  • Through the CSI process introduces opportunities for version updates, improvements, cost reductions and/or quality increases for the Customer 
  • Have insight into and understanding of status in operations.  

Accountabilities

  • Service quality and operational CSI
  • Establish and execute the service improvements plans
  • Compliance and execution of service operation processes and TietoEVRY policies
  • Services maintenance plan, i.e. that all services are at adequate hardware/software level
  • Ensure that periodic and proactive operational tasks are handled by the customer agreement
  • Ensure that Customer solutions are placed in the delivery chain, and that technical documentation is in place and up to date
