We are looking for a Data Center infra Technical Specialist to TietoEVRY´s Data Center’s in Norway as part of the Global Data Center Services team.

If you are an engaged and open-minded team player with technical skills in the Data Center domain and are curious to learn. You are proactive and service-minded in your work, able to make decisions, self-motivated and have the confidence to take responsibility on matters if needed.
You have experience in the Data Center domain and looking for new challenges.
Then you are our new data Center Technical Specialist.

We are a small team with skilled, experienced and motivated Data Center specialists located in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Czech Republic. We develop, maintain and own the service within TietoEVRY, and provide the service to all of our customers (external as well as internal).

We are now looking for a Data Center Technical Specialist to join our great team.

In our team, you get to:
 

  • Lead and drive the Data Center Services product operation at our Data Centers in Norway together with Data Center Lead Facility Manager Norway
  • Being part of giving Technical sales support
  • Handling contact with some of our vendors (maintenance providers, co-location partners etc.)
  • Part of internal and external Audits and site visits
  • Part of security and access management
  • Uphold infrastructure and technical documentation for the sites
  • Part of steering the Data Center Infrastructure operations (sub-contractors etc.)
  • Close co-operation with Data Center Operations (rack and stack activities)
  • Work close to other services, infrastructure and cloud teams and represent our service
  • Represent DCS in assigned projects
  • Respond to quality related issues with solutions planned together with technology and service partners and service managers.
  • Part of on-call for Data Center infra part at one of our sites
  • Plan and commit different service quality activities as per requirements.
  • Contribute to service design as well as plans and procedures for feature releases together with DC Product Manager.
  • Data Center white space design, layout and rack placement responsibilities
  • DC Infra Capacity planning and follow-up
  • Long term planning together with Data Center Lead Facility Manager Norway and Global (investment needs etc.)

To enjoy working with us in this role, we believe that you have….  

  • Good business understanding and IT-market knowledge
  • Experience and knowledge in Data Center related equipment and operations
  • Experience in handling vendors and suppliers
  • Experience in Data Center operations and planning
  • Experience in Data Center design, equipment and service components
  • Good documentation skills; descriptions, drawings, requirements, presentations and summarizing discussions.
  • You have capacity to challenge yourself and inspire people and your working team.
  • A willingness to learn and dig into areas that are unknown
  • Good understanding of security requirements for Data Centers
  • Language requirements, fluent in English and Norwegian

Location of the role will be our Data Center in Oslo or Gjøvik in Norway for the full-time and permanent work basis.
