The primary objective dedicated Service Asset and Configuration Manager is to identify, document and administrate all the Configuration Items (CIs) required for delivering services, including their relationships and dependencies. 

SACM manager ensures that the configuration data are up-to-date and available.  

 

Responsibilities 

  • owner of customer CMDB (Configuration Management Database) handbook (description of way of working in specific customer environment) 

  • ensure configuration process is followed including customer environment 

  • maintain configuration items information and relationships together with Configuration Items owners and other stakeholders Manage a full lifecycle of all IT assets 

  • reviewing CMDB data regularly and correcting findings 

  • providing monthly overview regarding CMDB and Asset Area for an assigned customer/customer (CMDB health) 

  • secure effective communication towards customer/s, within Delivery Team/s and other stakeholders

  • understanding ITIL processes 

  • fluent in English language 

  • strong customer communication skills 

  • analytical thinking and systematic way of work 

  • eye for details
